• Added a Zeus promo cold open using repurposed promotional and broadcast material to establish the WRB world and Zeus as an inevitable foe. Scored.

Bull Fight & Fallout

• Removed Charlie asking the kids for the Ambush leg and the $5 exchange.

• During the notification of his ex-wife’s death, removed Charlie’s line asking if his son is dead as well.

• Extended Charlie's reaction shot after he is told about Max.

• Inserted new title card here.

• Reintroduced the driving montage here, reframed as Charlie leaving the fair and heading to court. Rescored.

Court & Custody

• Added the deleted scene of Max speaking with his aunt about the butterfly pin, keeping it as a sentimental object tied to his mother and removing the original hustling angle.

• Cut the scene before Max offers the pin to his aunt.

• Removed the jump cut of Charlie arriving at the courthouse.

• During Noisy Boy’s arrival at the gym, removed the sequence where Charlie can't control the robot and Max uses Japanese commands.

• Charlie now issues commands in English, and it works.

• At the Crash Palace, removed the sidebar between Charlie and Max about taking a low-pay undercard fight, moving directly to Charlie choosing Midas.

• During the fight, removed Charlie’s sarcastic “undercard?” remark to Max.

• Removed Max’s headset instruction line during the latter part of the fight.

• Rest of fight plays out as is.

Atom's Discovery & Early Fights

• Added deleted diner scene where Charlie learns more about Max and his knowledge of robot boxing, strengthening their bond. 

• Added a deleted moment showing Max with the butterfly pin to reinforce the motif of a personal token.

• During the junkyard sequence, removed searchlight dodging and cut directly to scavenging.

• Removed the scene of Max pulling Atom back to the truck.

• Added night Tallet's Gym establishing shot

• Removed the Max/Atom running sequence to eliminate unfulfilled implications of robot sentience. 

• Removed Max’s snarky "as anyone" reply to Bailey.

• Removed the entirety of Zeus arrival sequence as these scenes were repurposed for the cold open.

• Added night-day time-lapse as Charlie and Max are in the parking lot.

• Fight at The Zoo plays as is. 

• Removed age-related banter during Charlie’s encouragement of Max’s pre-fight dance.

Twin Cities & Escalation

• Removed Charlie asking the usher to repeat himself when invited to Zeus’s suite.

• Removed the scene of Atom sitting alone in the gym staring into a mirror, eliminating further implications of robot sentience.

• Heavily trimmed Max/Atom dance sequence before the Twin Cities fight.

• During the Twin Cities fight, removed the “hitch” and "reach" exposition by Charlie.

• Trimmed Max’s victory speech to remove buyout and corruption callouts, keeping the challenge to Zeus direct.

• Added the final deleted butterfly pin scene after Charlie is attacked by Ricky and his men. 

• This scene completes Charlie’s emotional arc and strengthens the father/son bond.

• Deleted scene restoration included heavy audio cleanup.

Resolution & Zeus Fight

• Removed the scene of Charlie approaching Bailey while she is sleeping. 

• The following scene now begins with Charlie and Bailey meeting on the rooftop of Tallet’s Gym. 

• During the rooftop conversation, removed the kiss after Bailey tells Charlie he knows what he needs to do.

• During Charlie’s apology to Max, removed the line about Max’s mom being “the coolest”, as this sentiment is now carried through the butterfly storyline. 

• Removed the Finn–Ricky betting subplot during the Zeus fight.

• Most of the Atom vs Zeus fight plays out as is.

• Adjusted the Zeus power depletion reveal by removing the early slowing down cues.

• This preserves the energy failure as a sudden turning point rather than telegraphed.

• Final scenes and end credit rescored.
