Global Changes

• Retitled the film to Batman: Gotham’s Riddle.

• Removed the entire third act involving the city flood and Riddler’s bomb plot.

• Added a custom intro featuring a new title card and a quote that encapsulates the film’s themes.

• Rescored with “Disoriented” (Annihilation OST).

• Added dates and Location text overlays in multiple scenes.

• Removed all on-screen Riddler attack scenes to preserve mystery and maintain tension.

• Applied new LUTs to adjust color tone throughout the film

• Recreated the Penguin series title card effect for Batman logo.

• Replaced all lines referring to Batman as “vengeance.”

• Each act is now bookmarked with one of Riddler's 3 riddles.

Opening & Act One

• • Opened with Bruce’s narration about Halloween night. All new ADR. placed to fit the song beats.

  • Trimmed dialogue. Added line about the Bat Symbol being forged by the gun that took his parents.

  • Removed civilian’s “Don’t hurt me” line. Moved Title Card to after fight with goons.

  • Trimmed Martinez’s interaction at the Mitchell crime scene. Now he only mutters “goddamn freak.”

  • Removed the Commissioner’s dialogue with Batman. Now he simply says, “I want him out... now.”

  • Extended Batman's point of view shot of entering the Batcave. 

  • Removed the diary entry scene. Bruce goes to reviews lens footage now.

  • Cut Bruce’s “You’re not my father” exchange with Alfred. 

  • Bruce exits after “I don’t care what happens to me.”

Thumb Drive & Club Infiltration

• Shortened USB thumb drive sequence. 

• After Batman identifies the USB, the scene transitions straight to the Batcave.

• Removed the moment where Mitchell’s photos are emailed from Gordon’s account.

• Replaced Penguin "Vengeance here don't bite.”

• Reworked Batman looking at Selina/Annika through the binoculars.

• Removed guard interrupting Bat/Cat fight. 

• Now the scene flows directly into Selina struggle and immediate response.

• Skipped the bike riding transition. Now a quick engine rev leads directly to the apartment arrival.

• Removed Riddler's comical "Goodbye" and the Batman's “You’ve got a lot of cats” lines.

Joker Scene & Club Sequence

• Inserted Joker’s deleted Arkham scene after Batman and Gordon scene. Rescored.

• 2nd Riddle Card marks the starts of the 2nd act.

• Removed the scene where Batman gives Selina the lens.

• Rescored the club sequence.

• Added the deleted Catwoman and Penguin scene, showing her obtaining the hospitality card.

The Rat & Funeral

• • Trimmed the DA’s “rat” explanation. The scene now moves more swiftly to the "Russian girl" reference.

  • Rescored the funeral intro.

  • Removed Falcone’s laugh about the Hippocratic oath.

  • Removed Bruce’s interactions with the shady guy and Bella Real at the funeral. Now his focus remains on the child in the crowd.

DA Bomb Sequence

• • Removed Riddler’s livestream footage during the DA’s interrogation.

  • Cut Riddler’s “You're a part of this too."

  • Overlaid the DA’s desperate “Jesus, can we get somebody in here?” during Riddler’s conversation with Batman.

GCPD Escape & Car Chase

• Trimmed Batman’s police station fight; Gordon stops him earlier.

• Reworked Glide sequence. no comical crash. its implied through SFX he survived the landing.

• Removed the “pulling your punch” joke.

• Trimmed everyone waiting for Batmobile to restart. now the scene moves quick.

• Trimmed the chase’s early beats; Penguin now rams the other car immediately.

• Flipped Batman’s walk toward Penguin’s flipped car to be upright for visual impact.

• Scene now fades out as Batman approaches, removing the slow head reveal inside the car.

Penguin Interrogation & Orphanage

• Trimmed Penguin’s interrogation; removed Gordon showing him photos and yelling "open your eyes.”

• Removed the drophead encounter. They now enter straight into the projector room.

Wayne Tower & Family Secrets

• Shortened Batman’s return to Wayne Tower. Removed unanswered phone calls. Rescored 

• Trimmed rooftop convo with Selina. Rescored

• Selina’s vengeance line changed to “I thought you believed me.”

• Third riddle marks the start of the 3rd act as we hear Thomas Wayne political ad.

• Removed Bruce’s visit to Falcone for answers.

• Scene now transitions directly to Alfred’s hospital scene.

• Trimmed redundant dialogue and empty reaction shots during Bruce/Alfred scene. Rescored

Falcone’s Death & Club Sequence

• • Removed Catwoman’s “nine lives” line.

  • Batman’s arrival at the club to stop Catwoman is now a surprise 

  • No buildup shots of Batman making his way through the club. just the one "tunnel gun lit” scene.

  • Removed Riddler’s question mark latte art.

  • Trimmed the apartment search scene. Now cuts straight to Riddler’s “My confession” card and immediate phone call.

Riddler Reveal & Final Changes

• Moved “black and blue” line earlier in the Riddler interrogation.

• Removed “You should’ve seen me in my mask.”

• As Riddler screams “No!”, the scene transitions to him sobbing in Arkham.

• Joker/Riddler scene follows directly. Rescored

• Added a visual of Penguin staring out a window during Selina’s line about a power grab, foreshadowing his rise.

Ending Sequence

• Trimmed the bike goodbye scene. Rescored

• Added AI Batman voiceover as Bruce looks into the rearview mirror.

• New title card and end credits.
